check ram status in task manager, many programs running simultaneously can cause exception.

if there enough space available on ram run vs (1 gb (32 bit) or 2 gb (64 bit) ram (add 512 mb if running in virtual machine)), try re installing vs, if there's update able correct issue this, it's marked important on microsoft update, sure run , select updates marked important.

also, check if running vs administrator solves problem, normal user has limitations (on business' networks it's possible limits memory usage program, , windows 7 has new security policies i'm not sure how work yet running program administrator may solve problem).
