why there no metric ram in the monitoring section instances in management portal?
is there better way monitor such data other using portal?
you can use both commercial or community tools monitoring. if looking monitoring service, try datadog. if have no problem administration, try zabbix or icinga - both open source, need vm them. of cours vm can inside azure virtual network. if ok datadog, there option in new azure portal install agent on vm @ provisioning stage.
