does know how list of files committed , got bamboo ci server triggered? aim list of changed files during build process , validate them (phplint, validating twig files..) on bamboo custom scripts. problem bamboo "git clone", searching git log can't help.
(sorry wanted comment reputation low). think if uncheck "use shallow clones" on repository options let's full clone history of git repo. script task able git clone.
